Bone Density and Metabolic Bone Service

Information on our Bone Density Service for adult patients with conditions including osteoporosis.

What we do

Bone Density Service

Our Bone Density Service provides bone density tests to determine if you have osteoporosis — a disorder characterised by bones that are more fragile and may possibly break. The test uses X-rays to measure how many grams of calcium and other bone minerals are packed into a segment of bone.

Metabolic Bone Disorders Clinic

Our Metabolic Bone Disorders Clinic manages a range of adult bone and mineral conditions including parathyroid disease, osteoporosis, osteomalacia, and disorders of calcium and phosphate metabolism.
