The Melton Sexual and Reproductive Health Hub provides a free, confidential service to women and gender diverse people of all ages and backgrounds seeking information, treatment and referrals concerning their sexual and reproductive health. 

Screening and management of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)

Not all people with STIs will have symptoms, so we always recommend getting tested. It’s quick and private.

Cervical screening test

Cervical screening tests (or pap smear tests) can help prevent illness and death from cervical cancer. It is recommended every 5 years for women aged 25 to 74. You can do a self-collection test, or the nurse can perform it. It's quick, painless and can give you peace of mind.

Contraception

There are many different and effective ways to prevent getting pregnant. Don't rely on social media for your information; come and chat to an expert. We can find the best option for you.

Pregnancy choices and abortion care

Sometimes, an unplanned pregnancy happens. We're here to help you navigate all your options to help you make the best decision for you. 

We offer safe and supportive abortion care, if this is right for you. This clinic can provide medical abortion (abortion pills) for pregnancies less than 9 weeks. We can also refer you to Western Health's Choices Clinic or alternative providers depending on your circumstances.

You'll be seen by a midwife or nurse in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Please bring a Medicare card if you have one.
