Two Western Health oncologists – and hundreds of Footscray Hospital patients – have contributed to a global breakthrough in cancer research.

This year's BreastWest Night of Nights raised $85,000 towards patient support. Held on Thursday 26 July at the Moonee Valley Racing Club, the event attracted 550 guests with tickets sold well in advance.

Eleven intrepid cyclists recently completed the Otago Rail Trail across New Zealand's South Island to raise funds for Western Health.​

With fundraising for the Williamstown Hospital Appeal now complete, the highly anticipated project has moved into the planning stage, with work scheduled to commence towards the end of this year.
