Where to find this service
A midwife booking visit occurs around 14-16 weeks into your pregnancy. Women are given appointments every few weeks to monitor the health and wellbeing of the pregnancy.
Pregnancy care visits
At your first visit, a midwife will discuss your health background, your pregnancy and any concerns you may have. Your preferred model of care will also be discussed.
Pregnancy care clinics offered to women choosing to birth with Western Health include:

Perinatal Emotional Health Program
The Perinatal Emotional Health Program (PEHP) is the Victorian Government response to the National Perinatal Depression Initiative,, and is committed to early detection, support and treatment for pregnant women experiencing feelings such as sadness and anxiety.
